About
The Free Sound Project is a huge collection of free to use sound effects. Everyone who wants to participate in expanding this collection is truely welcome. The sound files are released under the Sampling Plus 1.0 license. That means, that everyone can use these sounds in their own work and also transform them into new effects as long as proper credit is given.
In 2007 I started recording sounds myself. I use an audio technica ATR55 and my camcorder to record sounds. After that I edit these in either the free tool Audacity or in Adobe Soundbooth CS3.
